2 Scope and legal bases
This privacy policy applies to all personal data collected and processed in connection with the use of the mentavi.io platform.
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, in effect since September 1, 2023) as well as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), insofar as users from the EU/EEA region are affected.
Legal bases include, in particular, the performance of a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), and legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Customers use the platform without registration and without providing personal data. Mentavi only collects technical data (see § 4).

Linking to Trustpilot and ProvenExpert is done on a voluntary basis by the coaches themselves.
Mentavi has no influence on the data processing of these platforms.

Mentavi may be required to disclose data to authorities if legally obligated to do so.
6 Profile publication
Every coach profile is internally reviewed by Mentavi before being published. The profile will only become visible on the platform and accessible to clients after successful verification.
By registering, the coach agrees to the publication of the following data:
The following are not displayed publicly: email address, password, and uploaded certificates.
7 Retention period
Once the retention period has expired, data will be irrevocably deleted or anonymized.

These cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the platform (e.g., login session) and cannot be disabled.

These cookies help us understand how the platform is used. They are only set with your consent.
When you first visit the platform, a cookie banner will appear, allowing you to grant or refuse your consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
10 Data security
Despite these measures, absolute security for data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
11 Data transfer to third countries
Some of the service providers used by Mentavi (in particular Stripe, Webflow, and Zapier) are based in the USA. Data transfer is carried out on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
Mentavi ensures that it only uses service providers that guarantee an adequate level of data protection.
12 Changes to the privacy policy
Mentavi reserves the right to update this privacy policy at any time. Coaches will be notified of significant changes via email.
The current version is available at any time on the platform at mentavi.io/datenschutz.
13 Applicable law
This privacy policy is governed by Swiss law. For users in the EU, the provisions of the GDPR also apply.
